Madrid pentru Isus

Outreach Date: 2nd – 12th of July

Madrid, the vibrant heart of the Spanish-speaking world, is awakening. A spiritual shift is already rippling through its plazas, and the sound of a city at the dawn of revival is rising. But while the first sparks have been lit, the work has only just begun. With millions of souls still searching for hope amidst secularism and tradition, the harvest is not just a promise—it is an urgent, massive reality. Madrid is finally awake, but the fire has only begun to spread.

This city needs the Gospel because only the Holy Spirit can break the silence of centuries. Madrid is destined to be a lighthouse, a gateway of revival sending shockwaves from the Iberian Peninsula to the ends of the earth. We are calling for the bold and the unashamed to join us on the frontlines. The atmosphere is shifting, the ground is shaking, and the question is no longer if God will move, but who will be there to labor in this historic moment? Do not let history be written without you.

We invite you to step into the streets of Madrid—from Puerta del Sol to the furthest “barrio”—to be a catalyst for the Kingdom. This is a divine appointment to saturate the city with the name of Jesus until the “movida” becomes a permanent movement of the Spirit. The gates are open and the King is calling for harvesters. Join us now and watch Madrid be set ablaze with a glory that will never be extinguished. Will you answer the call, or will you miss the moment history is made?

1. Primary Entry Point: Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas

Madrid-Barajas (MAD) is the main international gateway. It has four terminals (T1, T2, T3, and T4).

Pro Tip: If you arrive at T4, you have a direct connection to the Cercanías (Commuter Train), which is often faster than the Metro for getting to Atocha or Chamartín.

2. Major Train & Bus Stations

Madrid is the hub of the RENFE national rail network.

  • Estación de Madrid-Puerta de Atocha: The main hub for High-Speed (AVE) trains heading South (Seville, Malaga) and East(Valencia, Barcelona).

  • Estación de Madrid-Chamartín-Clara Campoamor: The hub for trains heading North (Segovia, Bilbao, France) and some newer low-cost high-speed lines.

  • Estación Sur (Méndez Álvaro): The primary Bus Station for international and long-distance national coaches (Alsa, FlixBus)

  • Intercambiadores (Hubs): Locations like Príncipe Pío, Moncloa, and Avenida de América serve as major underground hubs connecting Metro, local buses, and regional buses.

3. Madrid Transportation Options

Public Transport Network

  • Metro Madrid: Fast and extensive. Covers almost every corner of the city center.

  • Buses (EMT): Look for the blue buses for city center routes. Note: The “Exprés Aeropuerto” (Yellow Bus) runs 24/7 from the airport to Cibeles/Atocha for 5 €.

  • Cercanías: The red-and-white regional trains.Best for traveling to the outskirts (like El Escorial or Alcalá de Henares).

  • Abono Normal (Zone A) 32.70 € (Monthly pass for those aged 26–64)

4. Private & Alternative Transport
  • BiciMAD: The city’s electric bike-share system.

  • Ride-Hailing: Uber, Bolt, and Cabify are very active. For traditional taxis, use the Free Now app.

  • Electric Scooters: Operators like Lime and Dott are available but must be parked in designated spots (check the app map to avoid fines).

5. Accommodation & Outreach Strategy

If your goal is outreach at Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Cibeles, and Retiro, staying central is convenient but expensive.

The “Smart Move” Strategy

Since Madrid’s transport is so efficient, you don’t need to stay in the “Golden Mile” (Salamanca). Instead, look for accommodation along Metro Line 1 (Blue) or Line 3 (Yellow):

  • Tetuán / Cuatro Caminos: More affordable, diverse, and only 10–15 minutes from Sol by Metro.

  • Arganzuela / Delicias: Located just south of Atocha; walkable to Retiro and very well-connected.

  • Puente de Vallecas: Much cheaper; the northern part of this district is just a few Metro stops from the center.
