BRIGHTON and HOVE, a beautiful city on the south coast of England, is calling you!
Brighton station brings you right into the city centre. On foot, you can visit the many street markets and authentic shops. The centre also offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy arts and culture, with landmarks like Brighton Palace Pier and the Royal Pavilion. The local government has turned its future focus on being an inclusive, free-thinking city with a passion for culture, creativity, and sustainability. But we sense that God is calling Brighton to become one of the leading cities when it comes to Christian revival in the UK.
For too long, people have used statistics to label Brighton in dramatic headlines like: “UK’s most Godless City” or “Gay Capital of Europe.” Religion is not popular; in the last 20 years, the percentage of people with “no religion” has more than doubled. According to the 2021 census, 55% of the resident population states they hold no religion; in the under-40s, this is closer to 70%. The percentage of the population that calls themselves gay (lesbian or homosexual) is four times higher than the national average. The annual Trans Pride and Pride marches are attended by thousands from all over.
This combination creates a great spiritual void, making it a popular place for street preachers. Yet locals are tired of being shouted at, judged, and called sinners by religious people they have never met in their lives. In 1 Samuel 16:7 it says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” And God is doing a new thing in the hearts of the people. They are looking for meaning, belonging, and connection. Last year, we spoke with hundreds of people on the streets of Brighton, shared the Gospel, and prayed for a personal encounter with the LORD right there on the streets. God is reaching out to the hearts of the people of Brighton, and He wants you and me to bring the Good News of the Gospel!
God can shine His light into the darkness, but darkness cannot shine into the light! It is by increasing the light that the darkness will disappear. And that is exactly what we are called to do this summer. So if you are…
called to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Brighton,
able to share the Truth with love and compassion in your heart, and
ready to pray with people on the street to encounter Jesus,
…then we would be honoured to welcome you to Brighton during the Million Month in July 2026!

We will send you more specific information on the city through the WhatsApp Channel. You can join for any of the days. Simply let us know what weeks/days you can commit to once we start the registration for the city.
Alle deelnemers zijn verantwoordelijk voor hun eigen kosten (vluchten, accommodatie, vervoer, eten etc.) We geloven dat dit een geweldige investering is in de verspreiding van het Evangelie in heel Europa.

Getting around in Brighton
The city centre of Brighton consists of numerous small streets and is best accessible on foot. (See maps) https://www.visitbrighton.com/plan-your-visit/visitor-information/maps. Our daily outreaches during the Million Month will typically cover the area between Brighton Station and the Seafront (Brighton Palace Pier).
For longer distances there is a continuous flow of buses on the main streets. You can easily use Google Maps to plan your trips or download the Brighton & Hove Buses app: https://www.buses.co.uk/app Any single journey on our network for just £3.00. There is also a vast variety of tickets available offering deals for multiple tickets and groups: https://www.buses.co.uk/tickets#b58391f4-3547-4846-9dc3-502d3a53f6f9.
Should you plan to stay a bit further away from the city centre, it might pay off to take a look at the local train network, since this can bring you right into Brighton city centre. For Brighton local train tickets, use Southern Railway or Thameslink apps/websites to find the best options.
Finally, traveling by car is not ideal in Brighton city centre, since it gets rather crowded and the traffic tends to get congested. There is plenty of parking available in car parks, but they can be costly. You would probably be better off (quicker and less expensive) parking outside of the centre and switching to public transport to the centre.
Final Tips
There are plenty of taxis and taxi ranks in the city centre. You’ll find the main ones at East Street, Queen’s Square & Hove Town Hall. If you want to book ahead, try: Brighton & Hove Radio Cabs – 01273 20 40 60 / 41 41 41
Brighton & Hove has its own smart bike share scheme – BTN BikeShare – making it easy to get around by bike.
Walking through Brighton can become quite the physical challenge as it’s a bit hilly.
Being at the sea-front, the weather can get quite windy with the occasional shower throughout the year. Make sure to bring the appropriate clothing and take responsibility for your own health and safety.
Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask, if you have any further questions.
