Outreach Dates: 5th – 15th of July
Arad is a strategically placed border city in western Romania—a gateway between Romania and Central Europe. With a rich history and a strong church presence across many denominations, Arad carries a God-given calling to be a city of light: a place where the love of Jesus is not only known about, but encountered with power, and where believers unite to honor Christ throughout the city. On the façade of City Hall are inscribed the Latin words “Via, veritas, vita”—the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). What an honor to represent Him and the power of His resurrection!
Many people here are familiar with Christianity and with the idea of “church”, yet many among our ~138,500 residents have never personally heard the good news of salvation by grace through faith—that we are saved because of the finished work of the Lord Jesus, and that eternal life is God’s precious gift received through believing. We sense real spiritual hunger among students, families, workers, and neighbors who are open—waiting for someone to share this truth with clarity and love. Arad’s compact city center and accessible neighborhoods make it an ideal place for teams to engage people day after day with simple, bold Gospel conversations.
This summer, we believe the Lord is calling us to see Arad through His eyes.
It is time to unite the churches, fill the city with worship and prayer, and boldly proclaim the Gospel day after day. Come join us for The Million Month 2026 in Arad. Let’s go together – one conversation, one testimony, one prayer at a time – and watch Jesus save, heal, restore families, and set hearts on fire with His love.

We will send you more specific information on the city through the WhatsApp Channel. You can join for any of the days. Simply let us know what weeks/days you can commit to once we start the registration for the city.
Alle deelnemers zijn verantwoordelijk voor hun eigen kosten (vluchten, accommodatie, vervoer, eten etc.) We geloven dat dit een geweldige investering is in de verspreiding van het Evangelie in heel Europa.

How to Get There
For most international travellers, the easiest airport is Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport (TSR), about one hour from Arad by car depending on traffic.
If flights into TSR don’t work, Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport (BUD) is a solid backup—especially for budget carriers—then it’s roughly 2.5 hours by car to Arad (and there are also long-distance bus options). For Budapest – Arad transfers, shuttle companies also offer shared or private cars/minibuses, such as Global Connexion (WhatsApp +40 743 986 865).
If you prefer trains, the main rail hub nearby is Timișoara Nord, and Arad’s main station is Gara Arad. Direct trains between Timișoara Nord – Arad commonly take around ~2 hours (varies by service), and you can check live timetables and delays via InfoFer. From TSR airport, you’d typically take a taxi/ride app into Timișoara (or to Timișoara Nord), then continue by train or bus.
Getting Around the City
Inside Arad, most visitors use CTP Arad trams and buses. A single urban ride is 4.50 lei, and a 1-day pass is 18 lei(handy if you’ll do several trips in a day). Tickets can be purchased at kiosks and ticket points around the city (including major hubs), at machines, or in-app options like “Transport Public Arad” (CTP also references 24Pay for ticketing). Local tip: Arad’s city center is quite walkable, and for late nights or door-to-door trips, Bolt and Uber operate in Arad. Rental electric scooters are also widely available and are a great option for getting around.
