Lisbon, the beating heart of Portugal is ripe for the harvest! With 500,000 souls in the city and 2.8 million across its metropolitan area, this vibrant capital calls out for something greater. It’s the most populous city in Portugal, making it a fertile ground to ignite a Gospel revolution that could sweep through the nation like wildfire!

A city renowned for its stunning art, ancient churches, and historic cathedrals, Lisbon is more than just a tourist hotspot—it’s a divine stage set for the bold proclamation of Jesus Christ. The streets are filled with locals and visitors alike, many searching for meaning in the beauty of this ancient city, unaware that the true answer they seek is found in the living Gospel!

Though 70% of the population claim to be Christian, only 2% stand as Protestant believers. In a city where religious tradition often overshadows a real relationship with Christ, hearts are ready to experience the living Jesus, not just cold religion.

Lisbon’s bustling festivals—from the vibrant Saints’ parties in June to national celebrations like the Sumol Summer Fest—draw thousands in search of joy, excitement, and fulfillment. These gatherings are prime opportunities to meet people at their deepest need and point them to the One who alone can satisfy the longing soul—Jesus!

This is your call to action—let’s bring the Gospel to Lisbon with boldness, passion, and love. Let’s flood the city with the light of Christ and watch as lives are forever changed!

Programma giornaliero

Trasporto

Coming to Lisbon by plane is what we highly recommend. However it is possible to travel by bus from pretty much everywhere in Europe. A car trip should also be a good option.

Best airport: Lisbon (LIS)

  • Public transportation and passes that allow you to take different kinds of transportation within the city.

  • Metro, trams, busses and lifts are available to access various parts of the city.

Information on public transportation can be found here: https://www.lisbon.net/transport

Taxis are also available throughout the city, along with Uber and Bolt.

Bolt is cheaper in Lisbon compared to other big cities in Europe.

Alloggio

  • Housing and accommodation: for big groups it’s easy to find it inside the city areas and also on the suburbs near train stations.

  • For housing near outreach areas: Cais do Sodré train station, Rossio square, Martim Moniz square, Entrecampos train station, Marquês de Pombal, Bairro Alto (late night outreaches), Augusta street, Praça do Comércio are best.
