Lugano — A City Moving with God
Lugano, a beautiful city on Switzerland’s southern border, is ready for a new move of the Holy Spirit. For too long, the gospel has stayed inside church walls, but that is starting to change. God’s Spirit is stirring hearts and calling His people to unite, so this city can be awakened afresh by His love and truth.
Lugano carries a deep spiritual heritage and a genuine openness toward God. Known by many as a place for vacation, we believe it is becoming a place where God moves powerfully—through ordinary people carrying an extraordinary message. It’s time for all generations—young and old, bold and shy—to rise up and bring the Good News with love and courage.

Á hverjum degi munum við fara á göturnar í nokkrar klukkustundir til að deila fagnaðarerindinu og sjá mörg lífsbreytandi kynni, biðja um lækningu og kærleika til fólks. Við munum hafa hlé þar sem þú getur fengið þér hádegismat og kvöldmat og reglulega tíma til að safnast saman fyrir tilbeiðslu, bænir og heyra ótrúlega vitnisburð um hvað Guð er að gera á götunum.
Við munum senda þér nánari upplýsingar um borgina í gegnum WhatsApp-rásina. Þú getur tekið þátt hvaða daga sem er. Láttu okkur einfaldlega vita hvaða vikur/daga þú getur gefið þig þegar skráningin fyrir borgina hefst.
Allir þátttakendur eru ábyrgir fyrir því að standa straum af öllum sínum eigin kostnaði (flug, gistingu, flutning, mat osfrv.) Við teljum að þetta verði frábær fjárfesting í því að fagnaðarerindið verði dreift um alla Evrópu.

The best airport to fly into is Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). This is also likely the cheapest option. You can also use Zurich Airport (ZRH) from northern Europe. By car it takes about 1 hour to Lugano from MXP, by train from “Malpensa Aeroporto T1” (inside the airport) 1.5-2 hours, and from “Zürich Flughafen” 2.5-3 hours. The best train station to head for is simply “Lugano” (right in the city center).

The best way to get around within the city is by bus or funicular. Most people use these because they are the cheapest and easiest way to travel throughout Lugano. If you buy an Arcobaleno daily, weekly, or monthly ticket, you can use both bus and funicular!
You can buy tickets at kiosks near the stops, in the TPL/Arcobaleno app, or on arcobaleno.ch. Here are the current prices (subject to change; check the website):
Day ticket: ~CHF 11.80-16 (1 zone)
Weekly ticket: ~CHF 25-35
Monthly ticket: ~CHF 70+ (depending on zones)
Pro tip: Hotel guests often get a free Ticino Ticket for unlimited regional travel! In the city center, you can walk everywhere as well – especially along the lake! There are rentable e-bikes and scooters such as Tier and Bolt. Uber and Bolt work well; taxis
