Hannover.
Outreach Dates : 15th – 25th of July
Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony in northern Germany, is a city marked by influence, innovation, and connection. Known internationally for its trade fairs, green spaces, and strong economic significance, Hannover carries a unique calling to become a place where people encounter the presence of God and the heartbeat of the Father. We believe this city is destined to be a beacon of unity, restoration, and spiritual awakening — a city that welcomes the nations and reflects the love of Jesus far beyond its borders.
More than 540,000 people from many cultures and backgrounds live in Hannover. Students, families, business professionals, artists, and people from nations across the world shape the heartbeat of this city every day. Hannover’s universities and international events bring together thousands of young people searching for meaning, identity, and belonging. Behind the activity and diversity, we sense a deep spiritual hunger — hearts longing for truth, purpose, peace, and authentic community. We believe God is moving in Hannover and preparing hearts for transformation through the Gospel.
Now is the time for us to rise up together in faith and boldness. Let’s bring the truth, light and love of Jesus into the streets of Hannover. Let’s unite across churches and generations to pray, serve, love people, and proclaim the Good News with compassion and power. We believe Hannover will step into its God-given destiny and that we will see lives restored, families healed, and communities transformed by the love of Christ. Let’s flood this city with hope and watch God move in a new way across Hannover!

The best airport to fly into is Hannover Airport (HAJ), which is located just north of the city and is the easiest option for direct access to Hannover. By car it takes about 20–25 minutes to reach the city center, and by S-Bahn train around 18 minutes. The best station to look for at the airport is “Hannover Flughafen.” From there, the S5 train goes directly to “Hannover Hbf” (Hannover Central Station), which is the main station in the heart of the city.
Another good option is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) or Hamburg Airport (HAM), especially if flights are cheaper. From both airports, Hannover can be reached in around 2–3 hours by ICE high-speed train. Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is also possible and offers many international connections, but travel time to Hannover is around 3 hours by ICE. Usually, flying directly into HAJ is the easiest and most comfortable option.
The best way to get around Hannover is by tram (“Stadtbahn”), bus, or S-Bahn. The public transportation system is very reliable and easy to use. Most people use the ÜSTRA tram network because it connects almost every part of the city. Tickets can be bought at ticket machines, kiosks, in the ÜSTRA app, or online at https://www.uestra.de et https://www.gvh.de.
Here are some common ticket prices (subject to change):
● Day ticket: around €8–10
● Weekly ticket: around €30
● Deutschlandticket (monthly): €58
(The Deutschlandticket is a great option because it allows unlimited travel on local and regional public transportation all across Germany.)
Hannover’s city center is very walkable, especially around the central station, shopping areas, and the old town. There are also rentable e-scooters and bikes from providers like Bolt, Tier, Lime, and Nextbike. Uber is available in Hannover, and regular taxis are easy to find as well.
