Dresden por Jesús

Outreach Fechas: 13th – 22nd of July

With about 560,000 people, Dresden is an important cultural hub and university city in eastern Germany. It is often called “Florence on the Elbe” because of its beauty and rich heritage. Dresden is a city with a rich history shaped by both beauty and hardship. The bombing at the end of the war left deep marks on the city. The years under communism also shaped Dresden, as Christian faith was restricted. This history is still visible today in the high number of people who identify as atheists.

Yet today, Dresden is longing for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. People are remarkably open, and especially young people are telling us that they have been seeking God. God has a purpose for this city. Now is the time to make Jesus and His gospel known in the streets of Dresden!

We want to invite you to join us to labor with us in the harvest this summer. To live 10 days of ‘Book of Acts’: preaching the gospel, praying for the sick, casting out demons, baptizing and seeing lives transformed. Let’s rise together in unity and see Dresden won for Jesus!

Come and join us from July 13th until July 22nd and flood Dresden with the love of Christ!

Local tips

The most touristic place in Dresden, is the Altstadt, with the Frauenkirche as a highlight. Another popular area is the Neustadt, where more students and creatives live. A lot of the outreaches will take place in these areas. But some outreach locations are further away and you’ll definitely need a car or public transport to get there. A taxi is also possible of course.
