Reykjavik for Jesus

Outreach Daten: 4th – 18th of July

Reykjavík is the heart of Iceland, with about 64 percent of the entire country’s population living in the capital area. It’s a close-knit hub connecting Icelanders together – an environment where an awakening may quickly spread to all corners of the city. The coastline city is traditionally known for its people being spiritually curious. We believe that this quest will find its answers in Jesus! Now is the time to offer the pure and pristine gospel to those hungry for it. As you step on the streets of Reykjavík, the viking city that has become ever more international, you will encounter truth-seekers like never before. In Reykjavík we feel there is a special time at hand – the harvest clearly is ready, and the question is only about the laborers! Join us for this unique opportunity that the Lord has prepared for all of us and come share the good news of Jesus!

Du kannst an jedem beliebigen Tag teilnehmen.

For international arrivals, you will need to use the Keflavik airport (KEF). There is an airport right next to the city, but this is only for domestic flights (RKV).

  • The Keflavik airport is located about a 45 minute drive from Reykjavik. In Iceland, there are no trains. The only public transport option is the FlyBus, which operates frequently between the airport and the city. You can pre-book your tickets through the following link, but it is also possible to pay for the tickets on the bus with a card. The price is about 28€ per person. The main and end stop for the FlyBus is the BSI bus terminal, which is situated on the edge of the city center. A taxi to Reykjavik from the airport may cost a whopping 200€.

  • Google Play

  • App Store

  • A single trip costs about 4.75€

  • 30 day ticket costs about 80€

  • There are no Uber or Bolt, but there are regular taxis. In addition, there is Hopp, a local app for taxis and e-scooters.
