London

London is one of the most diverse cities on the planet, home to just under 300 ethnic groups and nationalities. It is made up of 32 boroughs, and during The Million Month we are excited to empower and mobilise churches across these boroughs to reach this diverse and influential city.

If you enjoy multi cultural and socially diverse scenes, then join us in London! Together we will reach many areas with the gospel! Lots of people feel lost and don’t know where to find joy, hope and purpose in life, even if they seem to have it altogether. London needs Jesus! We believe for many to come to Christ and for this city to be transformed in different places of society to eventually impact the world. The UK carries a rich revival history and we invite you to make history once again in the summer of 2025 as we witness people encounter Jesus in life changing ways!

Daily Schedule

Each day we will go on the streets for a couple of hours to share the Gospel and see many life-changing encounters, pray for healing and love on people. We will have breaks where you can grab lunch and dinner and regular times to gather for worship, prayer and to hear the amazing testimonies of what God is doing on the streets.

We will send you more specific information on the city you choose after you applied.

All participants are responsible to cover all of their own costs (flights, accommodation, transportation, food etc.) We believe this will be a great investment into the Gospel being spread all over Europe.

Transportation

London Airports:

Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airports
are the biggest international airports.

Stansted airport, Luton Airport and London City Airport

  • Bus
  • Uber / Bolt

Apps to download

CityMapper – put your start and end location and it will offer you several route options, including price, duration, and mode of transportation.

Travel Advice:

Travelling alone – London is a very busy, heavily populated, and fast-paced city. If you are not familiar with this, please do travel with a companion. The city can be very overwhelming if you are not used to such levels of population.

Pickpockets / thieves – these operate significantly in London, and theft is a common occurrence. Do not hold your belongings in your hands, as this attracts you as a target of theft. We advise wearing a fanny pack / hip bag / that you can wear around your chest for day to day.

Weather – Though it’ll be summer when you come to London for Million Month, the UK is notorious for its temperamental weather! Pack a lightweight raincoat, umbrella, a hoodie, and light jacket so that you can layer up or down accordingly.

Accommodation

London is great for shopping, and so if you forget something; tooth brush, travel adapter, a jacket, certain clothing, it is likely that you will find it here!!

Food / Groceries:

All types of food are readily available in London – whatever your preference you are never more than walking distance away from it.

Supermarkets such as; Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, Asda, and Sainsburys are also very accessible everywhere you are in the city.

UK Currency

The currency used in UK is Great British Pounds (GBP/£) – not Euros. Though most vendors take card, it’s not unusual to use cash. You can exchange money once in the country (e.g Tesco Money Exchange), or whilst at the airport.

Weather:

Although it will be summer when you come to London for Million Month. It is IMPORTANT to remember that it tends to rain often here. That being said; the weather can be very variable; one day really hot, next day cooler! Bring a rain coat, umbrella, a hoodie, pull over, or light jacket so that you can layer up or down according to weather changes. And bring some comfortable footwear – as we will be on our feet a lot sharing the gospel over the two weeks!!
